The BCA is the oldest pool league in the country and writes most of the rules for billiards.
Joe Ferris has been a league operator with the APL for 4 years and covers the Greater Philadelphia Region along with Chester, Montgomery and Lancaster Counties. The APL offers modern day pool for the amateur player. The APL has a major tournament (Regional Tournament) after every session and a Vegas National Qualifier (City Tournament) once a year. The Regional Tournament is a cash tournament with a payout of up to $10,000.00 and the City tournament qualifies a team to win a free trip to Vegas and compete in the BCA National 8-Ball Tournament.
